Cyperus alternifolius

The home country of this palm-like plant is the island of Madagascar. There it grows on the river banks. The plant is also known as "ostrica".
In height it reaches up to 30-120 сm. Its leaves are gathered at the end of the stem in a root-like star. It is easy grown. It has to be wetted enough and not to be put on direct sunlight. The humidity has to be high.
